The couple have been running awareness campaigns about organ donation in dozens of cities after getting out of their car from Mumbai. On reaching the city of Ratan Bhal Shekhar Chillana and his wife Namita Dutta\, they were welcomed and greeted by other social organizations including Kunal Sarangi\, founder of Naamyaa Smile Foundation. \nIn an congratulation program organized at a hotel in Sakchi\, Kunal Sarangi expressed gratitude to the couple for this noble initiative. On this occasion\, he said that many people lose their lives due to apathy towards organ donation. He expressed disappointment over the government not taking any initiative regarding organ donation in Jharkhand. He said that in the year 2019\, the Central Government has implemented the National Organ Transplant Program with a budget of 149.5 crores to promote organ donation. Kunal Sharangi expressed confidence that Jamshedpur city is one of the major cities of India in the field of blood donation\, due to being an conscious citizen here. Jamshedpur can also set an example in the field of organ donation in the whole country. He said that in recent times there has been an increase in the awareness among the people regarding organ donation. But it is sad that no process for organ donation has been started in any hospital in the state so far. He said that in the coming days\, other social organizations of the city will talk to the government in this regard and demand a concrete initiative at the earliest. Sarangi said that even today in India there is a tradition of donating the organs of living people only. Organ donation of a dead body is only 5 percent of the total organ donation.

SUMMARY:Naamyaa founder came forward to help Srinivas Sahoo
DESCRIPTION:Parsudih resident Srinivas Sahoo was suffering from brain hemorrhage and was looking for help. His family was financial unstable and was unable to bear the expenses of his treatment. Family came to Naamyaa Foundation and health volunteer Nidhi Kedia and Sumanta Hota consulted one of the brain surgeons at Apollo hospital\, bbsr and admitted him there. This disease was covered under Mukhyamantri Gambhir Bimari Yojana. When we tried to opt this scheme\, department informed under article 39 there were only four diseases namely\, cancer\, kidney transplantation\, serious liver ailments and victims of acid attacks. But under 39A 17 more diseases have been added but is not in working state because MOU for these newly added diseases. Naamyaa volunteer Nidhi Kedia informed our founder Mr. Kunal Sarangi and he promptly acted upon it.\nHe brought this thing in notice of Chief Secretary of Jharkhand and hence within 10 minutes MOU was done and this illness became active. As a result\, government fund of around 3.30 lakh was allocated to the beneficiary.\nRemaining amount was waived off by the hospital on the request of Mr. Kunal Sarangi.

DESCRIPTION:People usually say that thousands of people die of cold. But they die due to unavailability of woolen clothes and blankets. When it is next to impossible to even think about sleeping without the warmth of the blanket\, at the same time thousands of people shivering on the road. When the entire city enjoys the cold weather\, there are few under-privileged who are wearing minimum clothes on their bodies or living without a roof. Feeling their plight as ours\, we decided to start a drive of warm clothes distribution among the less privileged people of the society. We are planning to protect them from winter. By providing them warm clothes.\nKindly donate Blankets\, Sweater’s\, Warm winter caps and other warm clothes so that we can distribute it among them. \nPoor and helpless people sleep in rags on the footpath and roadside and die of cold. The poor people sleep close to each other during cold waves but how can one sleep without a blanket or quilt in such conditions. \nIn view of the severe cold\, today Naamyaa foundation distributed blankets among hundreds of needy people in Kakandishol village of Bankati Panchayat in Ghatshila block of East Singhbhum district.

This celebration aims to identify stressors and reduce them in people’s lives.  \nIt is very important to identify our stressors that negatively influence our mental and physical health and develop managing strategies for the same. The correlation between stress and mental health goes in two ways. DESCRIPTION:On 13th Oct 2022\, Naamyaa Smile Foundation in collaboration with Roshni Jamshedpur organized an awareness camp on Eye donation. Approximately 200 students pledged for donating eyes as well.  \nThe National Eye Donation Fortnight is observed every year from 25thAugust to 8th September. It is a campaign which aims to create mass public awareness about the importance of eye donation and to motivate people to pledge their eyes for donation after death. \nBlindness is one of the major public health problems in the developing countries. According to World Health Organization\, corneal diseases (Damage to the tissue covering the front of eye called cornea) are among the major causes of vision loss and blindness\, after cataract and glaucoma. \nThere are numerous reasons as to why people do not donate their eyes:  \n\nLack of awareness among the public\nInsufficient facilities in the institutes and hospitals\nAbsence of motivation even among trained personnel\nSocial and religious myths\n\nFounder of Naamyaa Smile Foundation enlightened the fellow students on these points and shared some valuable information about the process of eye donation. \n  \nBeneficiaries = Approximately 200 students\n# PledgeaVision

SUMMARY:A mega health camp at Haldipokhar
DESCRIPTION:Team Naamyaa in association with Rotary club of Jamshedpur\, Steel city and Rajasthan Sewa Sangh organised a mega health camp at Haldipokhar. Around 1200 people got the benefits from the camp. \nDoctors from different branches like general physician\, cardiology\, nephrology\, eye\, dental\, pediatric etc also participated in the camp. Medicines were availed free of cost and several tests\, such as\, BP\, sugar\, Cholestral level etc\, were also performed. \nFollowing up of the camp\, approx. 13 people were operated who were diagonised with cataract in the camp. \n  \nBeneficiary : 1122 people

DESCRIPTION:With the initiative of Kunal Sarangi\, Naamyaa Smile Foundation presented a handicap tricycle to the handicapped man. \nSubrata Murari\, a resident of Jamshola Baghun village \, who was unable to walk. His family contacted social worker Tapas Ghosh and told him the situation of their child. Tapas Ghosh apprised former MLA Kunal Sarangi about the situation\, after which he provided a handicap tricycle on behalf of Naamyaa Smile Foundation. \nBy getting a tricycle\, now he will also travel around like other normal people. During this\, happiness was clearly visible on the face of Subrata Murari and his family. The family members expressed their gratitude towards former MLA Kunal Sarangi and Naamyaa Smile Foundation and said that in such difficult times\, the organization helped them by understanding their problems which can never be forgotten.

These doctors have taken care of cancer victims even during the Corona period by risking their investigation. For this entire Jharkhand including Jamshedpur will always be indebted to him.  \n Dozens of doctors including Medical Oncology Consultant Dr Tamojit Chaudhary\, Radiation Oncology Consultant Dr Aditya Prakash\, Palliative Care Consultant Dr Pradeep Kulkarni\, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr Abhishek Thakur\, Dr Shashank\, Dr Khushboo\, Dr Prem Prakash were present on the occasion.

DESCRIPTION:On the initiative of former MLA Kunal Sarangi\, Rotary Club of Patna Midtown presented a state-of-the-art wheel chair to a handicap boy. \nNamaya Smile Foundation and Rotary Club of Patna Midtown members went to sonari to present Sajan Kumar \,a wheelchair which will help him to roam like others on his own.  \nWhile discharging social responsibilities\, Kunal sarangi gave a message of humanity by gifting a wheelchair to Sajan Kumar\, the handicapped son of Saroj Kumar\, resident of Balram Basti under Sonari area. Members of Naamyaa Smile Foundation and Rotary Club of Patna Midtown visited him at his Sonari residence and provided him with a wheelchair. Saroj Kumar’s family was unable to buy a wheelchair due to the family’s weak financial condition. Social worker Rahul Tiwari shared this information with Kunal Sarangi. On which Kunal Sarangi\, taking quick initiative\, provided a wheelchair to Sajan Kumar.
